Rune Stone
Rune Stones originated in Scandinavia. The runic alphabet is called a futhark--named after the first 6 letters. There are 24 letters in the alphabet. They were designed to be carved in wood or stone. Between 800 and 1100 AD the Vikings inscribed large rune stones commemorating their warriors and battles. By medieval times runes had developed religious, magical and mysterious significance. Rune masters were thought able to release power using runes and gave each one a name and extended meaning. Runes that were the work of travelling Norsemen are found in Orkney, Shetland, the Western Isles and mainland Scotland as well as the Isle of Man and Ireland.

We have 12 of the Rune Stones available. Some of the Runes will have some variation in color but they will still have the same symbol. To pick out your Rune, look for the traits you need to work on and that will be your Rune. For example, if you need to work on trust, loyalty and friendship then your Rune is Ehwas.
